About Evelyn FX

A small independent publisher of market education. No fund, no signals service, no managed accounts — just daily commentary and lessons about how markets work, written for people who are learning.

Who operates this

Evelyn FX is operated by Viktor Taran, a private individual based in Ukraine. He is the sole operator: he decides what gets published, runs the publishing tooling, and answers the email on the Support page. There is no company behind the brand, and we do not pretend otherwise.

The “Evelyn” persona

Content is published under the brand persona Evelyn. The persona is a brand identity — a consistent name, voice and visual style used across our channels — in the same way a magazine column has a masthead. It is not a claim that a separate licensed adviser stands behind the content.

What this means in practice:

What we publish, and where

Short-form market commentary and education on Instagram, Threads and TikTok; longer lessons on YouTube; a daily written brief in our free Telegram channel; and written lessons in the Learn section of this site. Topics are gold, major currency pairs and stock index instruments.

Everything we publish is general information. It is never tailored to your situation. See the Risk Disclaimer.

How we make money

We are transparent about this, because it is the part most publishers hide:

We are not paid to hold a particular market opinion, and a partner link is never a recommendation to trade.

What we are not

Not a broker. Not a fund. Not an asset manager. Not a payment institution. We do not accept deposits, do not hold or manage anyone's money, and do not execute trades for anyone. We will never contact you first asking for money, card details, wallet keys or trading account credentials — if someone does that in our name, it is a scam, and we would like to hear about it at hello@evelynfx.com.

Technology

Publishing across channels is automated with the official developer APIs of the platforms we are present on, strictly for accounts we own. The Integrations page describes exactly which platform, which data and for what purpose.
